Currently CURE’s initial physician Dr. Xiaodong Shi, M.D. PhD., of Beijing Childrens Research Hospital, is completing her year of training at Texas Childrens Hospital in pediatric oncology and will be returning to China the last part of July 2008.

Currently Dr. Yuan Xinyu, M.D of Beijing Childrens Research Hospital has begun his six months of training in pediatric cancer radiology at Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

August 2, 2008 there will be an RSVP fundraiser/dinner at the home of Tai C.Wong, honoring Dr.Xinyu Yuan, M.D., who is currently training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. We are looking forward to hearing Dr. Yuan’s experiences both in Chinaand the United States!

There will three additional physicians from Beijing Childrens Research Hospital scheduled to arrive in the United States and Canada for training in 2008.

CURE has successfully documented its credentials and financial status through a national organization -- the Independent Charities of America. CURE is now eligible to be listed on such charities as the Combined Federal Campaign. It can now be labeled as a “ Best in America ” charity.
